Stephanie has a passion for sharing the love and transforming power of Jesus Christ. As a living testimony to His goodness, she is determined to live and love as an example of Christ.  Stephanie first felt her call to youth ministry in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2011, and has been actively pursuing it ever since.  She began serving at Lakeview in 2015 and is active in many areas of the church.  Stephanie loves to find ways to connect, support, and encourage students and can often be found at sporting events or concerts cheering on “her kids”. 

Stephanie married her high school sweetheart, Carlos, in 2006, and together they have four awesome kiddos.  She likes to be active and social, and she enjoys movie nights, sports, music, and good conversation.  She works full-time, has a degree in Special Education.  Stephanie was officially ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene on April 2024.

Carlos Ruiz is a full time Peace Officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department.  He currently serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.  Carlos served eight years, active duty Air Force as a K9 handler.  Carlos began his journey in praise and worship while stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2011. 

Carlos has been married to his beautiful wife Stephanie, for eleven years.  They have three beautiful, energetic and fun loving children.  Carlos has transitioned from playing drums, to learning and playing the guitar, to leading praise and worship.  He is passionate about worship ministry and is always looking for ways to learn, grow, and mentor future leaders in the church. 

Carlos loves all things music and spending time with family and friends.  He enjoys working with and training dogs, diving into the word and most importantly, he loves the Lord!  Carlos seeks wisdom to learn new things about ushering Lakeview into God's presence.  Carlos has served as co-youth pastor, NYI president, and board member.
