Senior Pastor

Eric DeLuna

In January 2018, Pastor Eric and his wife Teresa accepted the senior pastor assignment at Lakeview Church of the Nazarene in Wichita Falls, Texas.  They are excited to serve and lead in the Wichita Falls community!  They have four beautiful daughters with the two youngest living at home.  They moved from Burleson, Texas in March of 2018.  Pastor Eric previously served as associate pastor at Fort Worth First Church of the Nazarene in Crowley, Texas.  He completed his pastoral education at Nazarene theological studies with the Clergy Development Church.  He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves Chaplain Corps for eight years as a chaplain’s assistant and instructor.  He leaves a career of 20 plus years in the security field and was previously a security contractor for the Department of Homeland Security. 

Teresa leaves a career of 22 years in the health care system.  She worked with the corporate adminstration offices of Texas Health Resources.  Teresa's education is in behavioral science and human resources management.  They share a passion and love for the Lord through living out a life that reflects His character.  They have volunteered many hours in ministry serving in the adults, youth, children, men's, women's and divorce care groups.  They are blessed to be a part of Lakeview Church and are excited to see God move in the church and Wichita Falls!   




Youth Pastor

Stephanie Ruiz

Stephanie has a passion for sharing the love and transforming power of Jesus Christ with the youth of today. As a living testimony to His goodness, she is determined to live and love as an example of Christ.  Stephanie first felt her call to youth ministry in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2011, and has been actively pursuing it ever since.  She began serving at Lakeview in 2015 and is active in many areas of the church.  Stephanie loves to find ways to connect, support, and encourage students and can often be found at sporting events or concerts cheering on “her kids”.

Stephanie married her high school sweetheart, Carlos, in 2006, and together they have three awesome kiddos.  She likes to be active and social, and she enjoys movie nights, sports, music, and good conversation.  She works full-time, has a degree in Special Education, and is looking forward to the day she is officially ordained as an elder in the Church of the Nazarene.

Lakeview is blessed by her desire and passion to serve the Lord!




Worship Pastor

Carlos Ruiz

Carlos Ruiz is a full time Peace Officer with the Wichita Falls Police Department.  He currently serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserves.  Carlos served eight years, active duty Air Force as a K9 handler.  Carlos began his journey in praise and worship while stationed in Cheyenne, Wyoming in 2011. 

Carlos has been married to his beautiful wife Stephanie, for eleven years.  They have three beautiful, energetic and fun loving children.  Carlos has transitioned from playing drums, to learning and playing the guitar, to leading praise and worship.  He is passionate about worship ministry and is always looking for ways to learn, grow, and mentor future leaders in the church. 

Carlos loves all things music and spending time with family and friends.  He enjoys working with and training dogs, diving into the word and most importantly, he loves the Lord!  Carlos seeks wisdom to learn new things about ushering Lakeview into God's presence.  Carlos has served as co-youth pastor, NYI president, and board member.

We are blessed to have Carlos lead our worship team! 




Executive Administrator

Philip Hines

Philip has a passionate heart for worship and youth ministries.  He loves serving behind the scenes by designing and maintaining records and policies for the church.  He enjoys serving the Lord in various roles at Lakeview since 2012.  He is currently a member of the worship team, a youth sponsor, teen Bible quiz coach, and serves as church board secretary.

 

Philip and his wife, Samantha, have been happily married since 2015.  They welcomed their first child, Andee Rae, in June 2018.  Philip currently works as a manager of a nuclear pharmacy in Wichita Falls.  His hobbies include quality time with friends/family, disc golf, racquet sports, cycling and video games.

 

We love Philip's commitment to the church and enjoy hearing the sweet violin sound as we worship!




Community Outreach Coordinator

Bobbie Bradshaw

Bobbie faithfully serves as Lakeview's Community Outreach Coordinator.  She retired from Civil Service at Sheppard AFB in 2008 with 37 years service. She graciously gives of her time in women's ministry, preparing meals, bible studies and anything else she can do for others.  

Bobbie has a daughter Melissa, who is married to Jason; they have six children.  Bobbie enjoys puzzles, game nights, scrapbooking, sewing, and crafts.  She loves spending time with her sweet family and her church!

We love Bobbie's servant's heart for the Lord!




Audio/Media Director

Samantha Hines

Samantha is passionate about all things digital.  She has a heart for visual art and enjoys helping usher in the Spirit through worship.  Samantha has served in many areas at Lakeview since 2015.  She is currently a member of the worship team, youth sponsor, church board, and church treasurer.

Samantha and husband Philip have been happily married since 2015.  They welcomed their first child in June 2018. Samantha recently left her career in the financial industry to be a stay-at-home-mom to sweet Andee Rae.  Her hobbies include spending time with family/friends, playing sports, keeping up with technology and snow skiing.

We love how Sam cheerfully serves in the church and how she continually seeks ways to improve our audio and media sound!  




Lighthouse Kids Team

Lakeview Church loves kids and families!  Our Lighthouse Kids ministry is comprised of several children's leaders who are Ministry Safe. They lead in different areas in several children's church activities.  Our team is committed to provide opportunities to help your children grow closer to Jesus!

We offer the following opportunities for them to connect with each other and God (grades 1-5):

  • Sunday School classes with age appropriate lessons
  • Children's Bible Quizzing 
  • Kid's Church includes bible message, worship, hands-on crafts
  • Family First Sundays provide the opportunity for children to sit with their families on the first Sunday of each month

Wednesdays:

  • Dinner at 5:30pm (September - April)
  • Games, crafts and lesson.  Some services may include community outreach projects.
